Argh... Home with the Flu, what to do, what to do...
How about releasing some Prompts!

These prompts are for Renegade, and whatever other software uses pipe codes for
color. I've read some Disk Mags on modifying Renegade menus, and what it boils
down to is that they want you to load up DOS EDIT and block copy ANSI stuff in.
Then they warn you to be careful, because if you overwrite anything else, it
could freeze your system. Wonderful, isn't it? Well, this is zomething new...
Now, I'm sure you are all familiar with the wonderful Multi-Tasker called
Desqview. Currently on version 2.62, it is, in my opinion, the BEST multi-
tasker. It uses timeslice multitasking, like OS/2, Windows uses Pre-emptive
multi-tasking, which is why you always see the dreaded hourglass. I do stress
the word ALWAYS... But, enough of my opinion... hehe

I believe Windows has a Clipboard feature that lets you do this also, but I
will explain the Desqview way...

1. Load up PROMPTS.GEX in your favorite text editor (Textmode ONLY).

2. Make sure your board is running, and at the system config, and at
the prompts thingy, or at the menu editor, or whatever you are going to
    inject text into.

3. Get it to the point where you would actually type out the text that would
    be displayed.

4. Go back to your text editor. Hit ALT, M.

5. Use the cursor keys to highlite the beginning of the text you want
    to copy over. Press B.

6. Again, use the cursor keys to highlite the very END of the text you
want to copy over. Press E.

7. Switch back to Renegade, and press ALT, T, and press down twice. Press
    Enter.

Done! Now, those seem COMPLEX, but I tried to keep them as simple as possible.

This text file is guaranteed to take up space on your hard drive, and
NOTHING else. If you don't learn from it, you wasted DL credits...
