                            New User Hex ansi
                             by Dream Master

Disclaimer---------------------------------------------------------------------

Just to let ya know that DoRE nor I will be help reponsible if this
utility blows up, or messes your puter up. Its not intended, but in case it
does we are not resonsible. Basic its as is, and use at your own risk.

Explanation--------------------------------------------------------------------

This will give your new user a little help. This will put a ansi at
the part telling them the must now send a new user aplication to the sysop.
This will put a screen to the new user and you can add what you want like
Tell me why you called, what can you do for the board, whats your hobbies.
I have included an ansi. You may use it or user your own, BUT, leave it the
same name as in your .OVR. I got this idea while logging on a WIldcat BBS
and (SHiver) said what the hell.

Files in this zip--------------------------------------------------------------

                          THEDOX.TXT <--- You reading this
                         FILE_ID.DIZ <--- For BBS Software
                            DESC.SDI <--- Same as before
                          APPNFO.ANS <--- Da AnSI

Installation Instructions------------------------------------------------------

Just put the APPNFO.ANS in your Renegade \MISC directory, and get out
your trusty hex editor. Now before you do anything, BACK UP YOUR OVERLAY FILE
cuz if you screw it up. Your fucked, and if you dont then your a moron. Now
search for You must now send a string in your hexeditor. Now when you find it
it will look like this:

Then when the user logs on for the first time the will see the ansi right
before the do the new user letter. Now dont worry about the pause cuz its
all internal and does it for you. <g>
