                  A few notes about
              voting at Demolition II :
        -------------------------------------

Like last time, we used paper sheets to count votes. Each sheet
was numbered with a different serial number, so we could eliminate
faked votes (didn't see any, though).

The vote counting utility was written by Wihannes / Nordic Vision
(email: jhheinon@cc.hut.fi) and he was also the main person
        responsible for the vote counting.

                                     - - -

Visitors were allowed to vote on the Top-5 in each competition
category, but they didn't have to give all the five entries for
one competition neither had they to vote on all the competitions.
Thus, it wasn't against the voting rules to vote on your own
        productions only.

The vote couting program gave five points for the 1st place, four
points for the 2nd place, three points for the 3rd place, two points
for the 4th place and finally, one point for the 5th place. If there
were only four votes in one category, points were reduced by one
(four points for the 1st place, three points for the 2nd place etc.)
and for three votes they were reduced by two points. Thus, if
someone voted on one entry only, we gave only one point. This should
be a fair enough way to compensate the given votes.
