Release note:

From now on all txt's in this series will be released under Azure Sky. I tal-
ked this over with The Orme, founder of AS, and this seemed to be a logical
evolution. However, the original plan remains the same: provide you with ac-
curate information regarding (rave) clubs in Belgium. Since there weren't any
txt's of this type available yet, I decided to release them myself. I will
continue to do so on a regular base. I hope that they are somehow useful to
you in selecting the clubs you wanna visit.

Personal impressions:

This used to be a nice house club, but now it seems that the Qu is dying. We
arrived at 01.00AM on a saturday night and saw that there weren't many cars
yet. Inside there wasn't much of a crowd. Most people just sat down in a chair.
There were only about 20 people dancing (including me). I must say this was the
worst atmosphere I ever experienced in a rave club. Also, the music was total
crap: almost all tracks that were played were at least 6 months old and outda-
ted. The style was Bonzai rave and a considerable amount of hardcore. Ok, I
must admit that there were some nice tracks (the rare moments when I was dan-
cing), but generally it was boring. The light show was not so bad: a laser, some
nice stroboscopes,... There were two hired (I think) girls dancing on some plat
forms, but this was shit too. The sound system lacks bass power, the bassdrums
sound all as if the low frequencies are filtered out... I guess you already
figured out that we left the place quite early, at 3.45 AM. If the Qu is cal-
led 'the Belgian House Palace' then I think they are lyin'.

Events coming up at the Qu:

Fr 25th November: 3 years Qu with DJ's Dave and Ghost
Fr 02th December: Techno Generation Party with DJ's Bountyhunter, Ghost, Joery,
                  Energy

The next issue of Belgian Clubs will be out soon. Stay alert!

Note:

This series of txt files on Belgian Clubs is just for your information. This
should never be considered positive or negative publicity whatsoever. The opini
on is this of a biased person; you may find that a club which gets a lower ra-
ting is better than one with a higher rating. However, MOST people can follow
this as a guideline when choosing a place where they wanna go out.
