The ANSI and the JPeG in this pack are the work of my old "boss"
and cronie from SPaSM, Elmoh. He moved away, came back for a few weeks
(just long enough to help me out^_^) and yesterday he moved away again...
He's a brilliant graphic artist, and I encourage everyone to check out his
web page at http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Lofts/6111 and see what he can do
for you!

I want to make a few announcements... first, official
HPK business. We'd like to welcome Mister Destructo into our
folds as an excellent composer. He's pretty new to the art,
but masterful pieces such as "Dark Side Of The Rainbow" and
"Feelings" prove he's definitely worthy to call himself one of
the best in 902. Not that there's a lot of competition, but
still. ^_^
Also, the HPK now has an email newsletter (mailing list) that
YOU can subscribe to! Yes! You'll love it! Just visit the URL
http://www.listbot.com/subscribe/hpk_list and do what they say! You'll
recieve all HPK-related information updates, including info on new packs,
website updates, births/deaths/marriages/haircuts, actual albums available
to buy (cassette, CD, vinyl - it's happening), and live show dates for HPK
acts (incl. Yeshe13, Resurrection Brothers 1&3, The Sentinels). So yeah!

Sadly, I'd like to bid farewell to Night Line BBS. On
May 8th, 1998, after three years, three months and three days,
the power switch rests in the "off" postion. Now, I've never
been a huge fan of Night Line, but it was one of the greats,
one of the last giants of the 902 BBSing scene, and let me tell
you - we had some greats.
It's not just another board going down, it's a sign.
I don't know whether to believe the sign, but it's very clear
to me what it says.... BBSING IS DEAD. More than that, BBSing
has been dead since VioComm went down, and I was blind to
think otherwise.
I find it hard to believe that any BBS will ever again
be as lively or as phenomenal as so many of our boards were,
here in 902. I find it seems to me as though it's all over.
Sure, I'll still call VR, but how long can Rare Delusion
continue with his rare delusions, that it's still active?
Messages dwindle... I remember days with hundreds of
posts were more common than days with fewer than fifty... now
twenty in a day is pretty good.
So good night, Night Line. And good night, BBSing.
You've been so much of my life, but now... I'll have to move on.
        It's been a slice.
...
Oh yeah, this might also be my last IT pack ever. I hope it isn't,
but we'll see. Take care, everyone. Write me.
