This demo benchmarks all available rendering devices during the initialization process, deciding which of them is the fastest. If the fastest device lacks any features needed by the demo, it falls back to the second best alternative. In many cases, this is the Direct3D software rendering device, which is utterly slow. The demo should run at >30 fps on any computer faster than a Pentium 200 MHz MMX, and if it doesn't, please contact the programmer.

A commonly lacking feature is alpha blending with color saturation. When this is missing,
the opening credits becomes invisible.

This should not be a problem with any post 1998 3D-adapters.
