			     LAST MINUTE INFO PACK!
			     ======================

     ----------------------------------------------------------------------

What?!? No, not the magazine! This is the final info pack for Oz96,
to clear up some of the questions that have been asked. It
has info such as Sponsor names, prize details, detailed
travel info and other upto-date information on the party!

Please if you are attending read this as some of the info
		will definatly affect you! :)

		---------------------------------------------------------------

Err Oz'96?? Yeah the DEMO party! :) If you have forgotten then Oz96 is
going to be held in Sydney, NSW, Australia, and it will start
on Wednesday the 17th of January, 1996! Yes in under a week!
It will finnish on Friday the 19th of January, at around
		midday, or whenever you want...

You need to turn up at about 5pm on the wednesday, UNLESS you
are a 'helper', read the section on helpers for more info on
		that.

Take note, the main doors will not be open all night! We dont
want some 'elements' (:]) getting in. =) Please turn up before
7pm, or you will have trouble getting in!

Also, we dont want people coming in and out all the time, so
		plan ahead!

The cost is $20 per head, that will get you all three days of
fun, and accommodation if necessary! (See accommodation section
		for more info)

Showers and toilets will be available, but this aint the
		Hilton! =)

		---------------------------------------------------------------

Where was Sigh. :) I dont want to wast space with all the details from
it again? the original info file, get the file 'OZ96INV.ZIP' from one
of the sources listed later in this file for more info.. But
for the sake of it I will repeate the location details :)

Oz'96 will be held at "The Evil Brother Hood of Mutants
warehouse"! Which is located at Level 1 144 Cleaveland Street
		Chippandale, Sydney, NSW, Australia.

The Venue is very close to public transport, only 10 minutes
walk from Central Railway station, in the center of Sydney, and
it is only 5 minutes walk from Sydney University!

The venue is on the northern side of Cleveland street, and it
is right near the intersection of Abercrombie St and Cleveland
St. It is not the most noticible building, but we will try to
put up as many direction signs as needed too make it obvious.

		---------------------------------------------------------------

Ok, what about Well like was said in the info pack, parking is not that good
car parking in the city! The venu is not near to any 'easy' parking.
and all that? Most of the parking is only one hour parking, DURING the day!
Luckily most of the one hour parking spaces in the area, are
only from somehting like 10am-7pm Weekdays, or similar. So
during the night you can easilly find parking. Also there is a
comercial parking area accros the road! Which also will be
empty during the night, but were not sure about that! :(

BUT, the problem is it is not a good area. And there are some
streets, where if you park your car for more than 5 minutes,
dont expect to get it back. =)

Okay maybe a bit of an exageration, but I suggest you dont
drive unless necessarly! Or if you can come with a friend or
so that there is as few cars to park as possible. :)

If you are coming from far away by car, then contact us and we
will try to arrange you a parking space. :)

More info on trips to the party can be found at the end of this
		info file.

		---------------------------------------------------------------

What about Okay, this is how we recomend you get there, it will be easist
Train? if you are not bringin any equipment, and the party place is
relatively close to the Train station.

Just get yourself to Central Station, then you are at the
hardest point! Central, is BIG. :) If you are going to get
lost then this is where it will happen. :)

Central station is annoying, but if you find the *Eddy Street*
exit, then your half way there. ;) So once you get onto there
follow the flow (usually turn left :]), and get to Pitt Street
and follow it along the railway, heading away from the center
of the city (ie, away from the Harbour and all). Head up past
the Bus station (next to the railway, not the one above it),
then you will soon pass the 'Mortuary Station' (and im not
kidding :]). If so you know yoru on the right track. :)
Just keep going along (even if that street does change names
:]), after a little while you will get to Cleveland Street
which is very large and unmissable! Once you find it, head
to the right, downhill, and you should see some signs infront
		of 144 Cleveland Street. :)

If you find yourself lost, then ask for directions, most
people, will help, if you ask the right type. =) Hey this is
a big city! =) The main thing to watch out for is that you
don't leave the station with the railway on your right! If you
do leave on the wrong side, then the quickest thing is to go
back, even though you can go that way, it is much longer!
		(Random knows, guess why. :])

Once you get to the place you will be happy. =) Its not hard
to find, some landmarks in the area would include; as you walk
up Pitt Street (which changes names :]), you will see over the
hill two identical 'TNT' office buildings next to each other.
That's a good sign. =) Head towards that, and you should be
		right!

		---------------------------------------------------------------

Competitions? main info file (or Web page) for full details.

		day. =)

		---------------------------------------------------------------

What was that For the compertitions, we will nominate some 'judges'. But they
about judges? will only be there to make sure the rules are followed, and
the compos go smoothly. They will also vote, and their vote
will be worth slightly more. :)

The actual voting will be done by everyone in the crowd, so
		everyone gets a say!

		---------------------------------------------------------------
