Background info:
-----------------

Completely coded by Dr.Allman from scratch.. :-)

 I used around 90 % assembly & 10 % plain C. Had a lot of fun (and not so fun :)
while making it. This is the third year in a row I design & code TG's official
 invitation intro...

I know, I'm far from being a good coder, but this time it seems I got most of the
project right... I had to develop several custom/special routines so that the
program could work with most of today's operating environments. The invitro should
run fine on top of DOS, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT and OS/2. It's smooth &
fine even on my thrusty old P60 running NT Server 4.0 !!

I kind of got keen on the idea of making something that really works...:-)
So.. I decided NOT to use any kind of SVGA / VESA crap - since the PC only has ONE
*REAL* graphics *STANDARD* which is supported no matter what, that is EGA/VGA... :-))
everything else suxx bigtime, since you never know what kind of card/OS/mode/etc
you are dealing with - using new hardware always leads to incompatibility, a
 coder's NIGHTMARE deluxe !!

So... to avoid incompatibility I designed the whole thing with one special thought in
my mind: It should work even on a plain 386 with VGA & 4 MB RAM - running DOS 5.

I release two versions - they are exactly the same - one is with music & a
sound engine - the other isn't. If you are running NT - you should use the sound-less
version. (I used the MIDAS audio library, since it is the best XM player around.)

I made this invitro for YOU people... nobody asked me, nobody told me to do it,
everything you see, hear & experience is pure initiative. Mr.Skjefstad & the rest
of his TG/Admin crew don't give a shit about invitros & stuff... they are waaaaay too
busy planning & making the actual party as cool as they can. Well.. personally, I
think a every decent party should have at least one invitro.. we have to keep the
tradition up & running, right ? I used A LOT of my spare time (and not spare time:)
designing & making this one... Was it worth it ?

The only dude who really supported me was "Floyd" - Andreas: Thank you very much for
betatesting, suggestions, critics & psychological support !! :-) You rock !!

Please.. don't judge this production too hard... It's a ONE-MAN-ARMY deal,
 I had to make everything myself - I coded, I designed, I drew, I rendered and I
composed music... (that's why people call me "Allman" :) - I do it all :))

Comments, suggestions, critics, messages & fanmail ?
