Dear Everyone Wasting Their Time In The Scene:

I am writing this to say goodbye to everybody in the warez scene, and to
hopefully change your point of view on what your wasting hours each day on.
I would like to thank people who have argued with me greatly on the net,
because they made me come to realize that why should I waste my time moving
my fingers to talk to some person who hides behind a computer in a imaginary
world using a make-believe name about who can run to software stores and
waste their money on games the fastest. Stop a minute and ask yourself
what your doing right now. You probably just logged on to a pirate site
and downloaded this text file. What could you have been doing instead of
wasting your time on FTP sites? Blowing money on a game to release which
you yourself will probably not even play for more than 10 minutes to test it?
Sitting in a DIR waiting for a zip file to be uploaded to spread it to
another ftp site to boost your ego and make you feel cool being better
than other incompetent people who resort to couriering for a hobby? You
could be out in the "real scene." i.e real life. Chilling with friends,
maybe doing something that might get you somewhere in life, like college,
instead of flunking out. Why waste your money or time on software that
really means nothing to you except to "crush the competition." For all you
teenagers out there, this shit is geeky. Face it. Go out to parties, get
drunk, get laid, smoke pot, do whatever to have fun, not sit in front of
a computer screen, fuck up your life, complexion, and weight. Trust me,
not too many chicks dig guys sitting home on friday nights ripping a
game. Who are you trying to impress by being the best in the scene? All
the #exceed people could care less who you are. They don't contribute or
waste their time in the political shit, their the smart ones making out
like bandits with free software that you wasted your time putting out,
think about it bro.. its not the way you want to spend hours each day
when you could be doing something much more fun or productive.
The reason I myself am dropping out of this make believe realm of
people shunned from society who resort to acting cool behind curtains on
a computer screen is because between academics, real life friends, partying
on weekends, and smoking herb, the scene cant even compare. Maybe most of you
have never really experienced real life fun and started out on the wrong foot
playing on your computer, I pity you. Talk to people at work, or school,
or wherever you spend your day and get into the social scene, not the warez
scene. Or if you really love computers, learn how to program or something
not how to fucking proxy, because trust me, MIT isnt interested in people
who can get in RiSC or #1 on FTP Sites. I guess until you experience real
fun in life, you wont know what Im talking about. Think about what you do
on the computer, and then what you could be doing with people in real life,
not on a irc channel. Just remember, while your bashing people, packaging
a release to spread, or whatever.. other people like myself are gettin drunk,
fuckin chicks, gettin stoned, and enjoying life, not this imaginary world of
lameness. Think about how much money and time you could have saved by not
buying some stupid program and releasing it, or risking your job stealing
it to release it early for some people's matter. Anyhow, I'm out. Maybe
I'll stop in and say hi every now and then when I have nothing to do (very
rarely) but other than that.. I'm Out. .to everyone who was cool with me:
The conferences were fun, but most of you have moved on also.. smart move.
No personal greets cuz it would take too long and I dont want to miss anyone.
But please, dont waste your money on something scene-related, go out and
buy a CD or something that youll use more than once.. I recommend Sublime.
Later, .. 4:20 -The Krazy Little Punk
