Well, I've spent 2 years with ROR and RLX. Tklp was the one who
first brought me into the scene and I have since remained. As everyone
well knows by now, Tklp retired about 2 days ago from the scene. His social
life got the better of him, and he couldn't commit the time anymore into the
group. After he announced this I had every intention of continuing with RLX
and remaining as the group's leader. However, ][ce (a supposed friend)
decided to join RZR. That was the straw that broke the camel's back. I
can't take the constant backstabbing that occurs in between groups especially
the treachery from former members who leave for "better deals." The scene
is so full of greed and bad competition that loyalty and friendship mean
nothing nowadays. People like being in groups that release the 42-games-a
-month-we-dont-care-about-quality deal. Wow, those Infogram titles (Spirou,
Tintin) really were downloaded a lot! But hey, its a release right?
Anyways, basically what this comes down to is that I have decided to shut
down RLX. Tklp and I have discussed it and concluded that right now it would
prolly be best for all group members. I'm sure budgetmaster and fatphreak
will be thrilled out of their paki minds but their opinions mean about as
much to me as Lost Soul's. I am by no means retiring from the scene. I am
simply closing down the group. I'm sorry if this has inconvenienced anyone
and I encourage all group members to contact me if they need some help with
whatever.... I will continue to be on IRC and I will never forget the years
I spent with RLX. RLX is one of the two groups in the games scene who were
actually close enough to call each other friends (the other being PDM) and
it pains me to see it end. I want to thank all the group members who have
remained loyal over time despite the unwarranted criticism from the rest of
the scene. Its been swell guys.
