Well, since I recieved MANY e-mail messages for these sounds, here they are!

             ***********************************
             *                                 *
             *  Ultra Wolf additional Sounds I *
             *                                 *
             ***********************************

All you have to do to get these sounds to work (assuming that you don't want
to erase your old sounds) is:

1) make a directory under your wolf3d directory (ie. newsound)

2) Unzip this file into that new directory

3) copy the go.bat file to something like go2.bat

4) edit go2.bat so that the line:

                lh ulrawlf ultrawlf

                        now reads

                lh ulrawlf newsound
                              ^
                              |
                               ---- or whatever you call the directory.

5) Just type go2.bat to run the game with the new sounds!

If you don't want to use the Ren and Stimpy sounds but you really like
the gun sounds or the dog sounds or whatever your preference is, you
can just look in the uwolfsmp.inf file in you newsound directory for
a description of each file, and then make your own sound directory of
your prefered sounds.

ie)
        wolf04.snd --- Med. sized gun } these are the guns
        wolf05.snd      ---     Pistol             }  that you use.
        wolf06.snd      ---     Machine gun        }
        .
        .
        wolf01.snd      ---     dog bark
        wolf10.snd      ---     dog yelp
        wolf1d.snd      ---     dog double bark
        .
        .
        wolf15.snd --- pistol used by guards
        .
        .
        etc.

I have also changed a couple of the mods to better suit the game, if you
have any suggestions of other mods to use I would love to hear them.

I am also working on another set of sounds for this game that incorporate
Beevis and Butthead. If there is enough response from this file then I will
also release those sounds.

Of the 46? sound files in this game I replaced all but 7 of them. I left
the door sounds as they were because I could not find anything better, and
I left a few of the other sounds as well.

For those of you who are tired of playing the same Wolf missions over and
over again, I would HIGHLY recommend getting INSANITY.ZIP from:
ftp.uwp.edu in the incoming/id directory.
These new missions are EXCELLENT! But you MUST read BLURB.TXT first
(this file comes in insanity.zip).

I hope you enjoy these sounds (I know I do!) and if any of you have good
or better sounds for the game I would love to hear them. :)

My favorite of the new sounds has got to be the medium sized gun. I
sampled the sound of a shot gun off of a CD of sound effects and then
edited the resulting file to match the flash from the gun nozzle. The
bass is Great!
