Hi! Today I want to bore you to death telling how to draw eyes using
airbrush. I read a few articles which pissed me off (especialy Dragon's (#4)
"scanning" by Roller where the autor wrote how to make changes in scan to win
gfx compo at copy party), a few of my pics was rejected (probably ppl in
selection thought that I scanned them becouse I'm not well known but my gfx is
quite good). The reason is simple most scene ppl are a little bit lame in gfx
especialy coders and polish Amiga users (NOT all of them of course!). A lot of
them think that 24bit=Photoshop which can draw without true gfx-artist (I
don't agree)... Btw. I don't like this prog. becouse Photoshop's airbrush
isn't as good as for eg. in Autodesk Animator Studio for Windows which I
usually use. OK, nevermind; I should start writing "how to".

   what: woman's eye
   prog: autodesk animator 4 win
   tool: airbrush, some undos :)
   time: about 20 mins
comment: only handmade lines of course - without automatic curves

OK Let's start! There are 5 steps:

1. Fill background with skin colour.
Pick small size airbrush and draw the white of the eye.
Using dark colour airbrush's, bigger (a little bit) than the white, draw an
   iris.
2. Make colour gradient from the dark outside to brighter inner of the iris.
Make some rays and chaos/noise on the iris.
   Draw a pupil.
3. Draw some shadows on the skin, eye's corner and eye's outlines.
4. Make shadows deeper.
Start drawing eyelashes and eyelid's line.
5. Last touch for eyelashes.
Draw a brow and some more shadows.
Draw reflections on eye's lens using white airbrush.
THE END!

It's a very simple eye and maybe not very realistic becouse it's not a
copy of some real eye but just my pure imagination... It needs more than
20mins to look perfect but it's an example so I don't want to waste my time :)

That's rather simple so I can't understand that all ppl who are non-stop
talking about scanning. The truth is that there are soe ppl who can draw and
some who can't - if you are not a TRUE expert/specialist in drawing, image
processing and scanning; just be quiet and DON'T try to be judge telling which
pic is scanned and which isn't because you can be taken for a foolish lamer
(like for eg. Roller/bm).

Huh! Btw. Hi Scyzoryk! Sorry; there is only "how to" for an eye, not for
lips but I hope you like it :) Greetz!
